Community LOVE

Every morning before we start with clients we spend 30 minutes together as a team, planning, creating skin plans, sharing the vision, educating….its always different but one thing is constant - our morning coffee.

When it comes to hormonal balance (and therefore skin balance), coffee is not in the good books but I found a loophole and that is the MACA MOCHA from Vitality Organics.

Maca acts as an adaptogen, naturally supporting and nourishing the female endocrine system to help regulate and balance hormone production. Through its unique compounds, like macamides and macaenes, maca assists in alleviating menopausal symptoms and reducing PMS-related discomforts.

The other thing we have come to love about our morning coffee ritual is the community connection at the bright yellow caravan, directly across the road from us.

This week I chatted to the new owner of Vitality Organics, Sean

I asked him - Why Vitality, why Mount Maunganui?

I was working as a Mechanical design engineer for the last 9-10 years. Because of the nature of the job I started missing interacting with people. Owning a café is a perfect solution to this and especially a café like Vitality where the customer base is very health conscious. Being Plant based myself I only wanted to buy plant based cafes. I feel very Authentic serving people what I love myself. There is not even a little inner conflict occurs when I hand over my customers their orders.

I told him about my love of the MACA MOCHA and asked what his favourite drink was

To be honest, it is very hard to pick one drink, I love all of them, Hurricane & Sexy Mayan are couple of them. But I start my day at Vitality either with a nice long black or espresso shot. This is mainly because of my love for the coffee.

We chatted about wellbeing and found a mutual love of personal development, I asked how he manages his stress

I am a very new business owner so I haven't got my strategies sorted to deal with the stressors that come with owning a business but generally running & mountain biking keep me sane. I am a big follower of Carl Jung's work so often love doing dream work sessions with Jugian Psychologist Dimitri Halley from Aruba.

Me too Sean! Many more chats to come as the days get warmer.

Welcome to our community!
